Overview

Established in 2001, Glacier Consulting is an IBM Tier 1 business partner and one of South Africa’s leading IBM System-p and AIX specialists. We have considerable experience in the implementation of high-performance IT infrastructure, data management and business applications for clients in the corporate and public sectors throughout South & Central Africa. Glacier Consulting partners with the technical leaders of the IT industry to provide their clients with the information and expertise they require to support their strategic IT and business-related decision making processes. Our team of highly qualified specialists and consultants delivers detailed technical advice and knowledge enhanced by the direction and leadership that comes from our management team’s accumulation of more than 110 years of IT experience.

The Glacier Graduate Program is a program designed to develop skilled, competent individuals in fields relevant to key areas of business and customer service. Our objective is to increase Glacier's pool of skills as well as to strengthen our BEE position. Rather than attempting to buy established skills, we strive to develop and retain our people. We target graduates with little or no work experience who are interested in a career within IT, and give them first hand on-the-job experience, training and certification so that they can enter the market with technical expertise and accreditations to their name.
